Forge one of the most stunning and sought-after blades in the world — your own handcrafted Damascus knife. This in-depth, two-day workshop takes you step-by-step through the entire process, from raw steel to a finished, heirloom-quality blade.
On Day One, you’ll construct and forge-weld your own Damascus billet, learning the techniques to layer and pattern your steel — building it up to over 100 layers of striking contrast and strength. You’ll then forge the billet into a blade of your own design and heat treat it to lock in the perfect balance of hardness and durability.
On Day Two, you’ll grind, polish, and attach a custom handle to bring your knife to life. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a fully finished Damascus blade you made entirely from scratch — a one-of-a-kind piece of craftsmanship and skill.
This course is highly hands-on and very detailed, designed for those ready to dive deep into the art of knife making. All materials, safety gear, and lunch are provided.

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot in any Takach Forge workshop. This deposit covers materials preparation and scheduling time and cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
If you need to cancel, your deposit will be held — however, to reschedule and secure a new class date, the remaining balance must be paid in full. Once the full payment is received, you’ll be placed back on the schedule for a future class of your choice.
We understand that things come up, and we’ll do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests — but deposits are non-refundable, and full payment is required to rebook.
